Baldur's Gate 3 Patch

Larian Studios has released the eighth major patch for Baldur's Gate 3. The update brings to the game photo mode, crossplay and 12 new subclasses. Along with this, the authors made a number of improvements and edits.

The developers also announced that Baldur's Gate 3 will no longer receive patches of this scale - new narrative content or changes in the stories are planned. Small updates with bug fixes will continue to be released.

«You have helped us make BG3 more successful than we could have imagined. Your support and passion could keep us in this world indefinitely - after all, we always want to refine something, change something. But if we go on forever, we won't have time to create something new.

With the exception of minor bug fixes, this update will be the last one with new content. We won't be adding any more story elements or making major changes to stories, characters, and companions.

We told our stories the way we wanted to tell them and tried to make them really vivid and meaningful. Now we are learning how to better manage our own chaos - so that we can create more chaos in the future.»
